We had a good fourth. We celebrated by spending some nice quality time together just the four of us. We swam, watched Michael grill hamburgers, ate "fourth" food like hamburgers, BBQ chips and cherry cobbler.
We then set off our own sparklers and ended the night with watching fireworks.
As nice and relaxing as that sounds did you notice I only called it good? That is because between sparklers and fireworks we spent our time doctoring two of Camo's toes that were burned pretty good by the sparklers. His foot got caught by a dropped spark - it was so sad and very hard on the parents to watch him hurt so badly. He is such a trooper though and handling it VERY well. Minus a little lifting of the toes when he walks today, you would never know it happened. Overall they had a great day shown by this picture of two worn out boys.
