Colorado

We left Arkansas in the early morning hours and headed to Colorado. We were long overdue for a visit and to check out the Mason's new pad. We weren't sure we were going to be able to go because of the big fire's in Colorado Springs. It was a sad situation that affected many families in that area. We watched it daily and Sarah said it was fine to come. So after a very long day in the car (kids did great) we arrived to some very familiar faces that we have missed so much. To see Jax and Halie hug is priceless. Such a sweet and rare friendship those two have had since birth. We enjoyed our trip very much. We were also lucky enough to spend quite a bit of time with the Fernihough's. I love that they are such good friends with the Mason's. I can tell they spend a lot of time together. We were able to spend some nice quality time at home hanging out and watching the kids play. We took a trip to the zoo with the Lunn's and enjoyed climbing the hills since the zoo is in the hills. We also spent the fourth of July hiking with the Mason's and Fernihough's. Our first family hike. Jaxson of course loved it. I was worried about Camden keeping up but with a walking stick he did great. Megan rode in a backpack behind Michael and seemed to enjoy almost every bit of it. We ended the fourth with some yummy tex-mex fajitas and decorated desserts. We did leave the next morning to head home but sure look forward to the next visit.

Camden didn't like the feeling of the tongue so he ended up throwing it at him.  He made it most times.

Jaxson loved it!
Sweet girl along for the ride.
Our zoo friends (minus Austin)!

First Family Hike with the Mason's and Fernihough's:
Sweet Brothers!

Smiles from Megan.  She seemed to have a great time riding behind daddy.

Our kid crew...all 8 of them...well minus Megan!

A really neat bolder that we found along our way.

11 years married.  I love this man.

Jax and his walking stick.

Still smiling as we walk back down.
