Galveston

We were lucky to get out of town for the weekend and go to Galveston with my in-laws.  I have never been to Galveston so it was a first for me and the kids.  It had been years for the rest of them since they had been there but they all seemed to think it was nicer than they remembered.  We had a wonderful time of just hanging out and playing with the kids.  These dolphins are from the front of our hotel.  Every room had an ocean view which only confirmed our decision to retire near the water or at least settle by the water after kids.  We always try to take a summer getaway with the Stuarts and try new places and things.  I'm sure we will come back here one day.

The beach and view from our room

Grandmother and Jax had a blast playing in the waves.  Jax loved to dive into them.

So proud of Camden for playing in the waves and sand and loving it.

Jax would yell "take that" as he splashed in the waves.

Such a sweet, peaceful Camo playing in the water and sand.

Miss Megan loved every thing about it.

This face sums it up!

 We love palm trees.

Michael playing with the kids.  He let them bury him.

Me and my sweet girl.

Jax took the first turn being buried.

Sand play is always fun.

 Exploring the water.

No fear at all of the waves.

Michael sporting his beard and baby girl.

In front of our hotel with a pretty waterfall in the back.

My three sweet blessings.  Aren't they fun?
