J hits his first home run in a game!

Jax has been working so hard this season to improve his game. He and Michael have spent many afternoons and evenings outside of practice in the yard playing ball. Saturday was a make up game from a rain out and it just happened for him. He made it to 3rd base and the coach was telling him to go home and they are throwing the ball home. The catcher catches it, tags him but J runs into him knocking the ball out of the glove and he makes it to the base. So exciting!!!! I hope he puts together that hard work can pay off. We are super proud of this kid.

Here he is playing catcher.  This isn't his normal position but every now and then he fills in.

There is his home run ball heading for him!!!
