This was an usual week for us as we had three late nights in a row with different activities. We all survived just fine but we are looking forward to weekend naps.
Jaxson tried out and earned the role of Dick Clark in his 4th grade music performance of an American Bandstand episode. He took it very seriously and learned all his lines. He wasn't really nervous and performed very well on stage. It's funny how comfortable he is in front of crowds when he appears quiet in person. We are really proud of him and treated to ice cream afterwards.
The Arboretum is doing a new 12 days of Christmas event and members were able to preview early. We met Grandmother and Aunt Karen for dinner and then headed to the Arboretum. You can tell by the coats, hats, gloves, anything that could keep us warm, that it was a pretty cold night. Actually too cold for November but that didn't stop us from enjoying it. Grandmother treated to warm drinks for everyone and that helped. It was all done so beautifully and we really enjoyed seeing it all.

PTA Membership party at the Skating Rink! Since I am a co-chair on the membership committee for PTA I had to go and the kids love it so we attended. All three kids wore skates and had fun. Luckily they can lock the back wheels on Megan's skates so it helped her "walk" around. She fell some but since that girl has very little fear she is ready to own a pink pair of her own. Camden improved so much from last year. He needed very little assistance this year and was determined to get it down. Jaxson remembered pretty easily and headed off to find his friends. Even though we were tired we had fun!
