Amazing Race Party

Jaxson asked for a friend party this year so we went with an "Amazing Race" theme.  Thanks to pinterest it was very easy to put together.  We held it at a park on the Saturday morning immediately following his actual birthday.  We divided into teams and then had several activities they had to complete.   The teams had to put each others shoes back on after finding them scattered in the yard, race to find to your team bucket while one partner is blind folded, racing to build a marshmallow launcher, launching marshmallows into the bucket and completing a food challenge.  The marshmallow launchers were a big hit and occupied most of the rest of the party time.  The grounds were wet from rain and the grass needed mowing so the boys came back muddy, dirty and happy!
