Gold day is a super fun tradition that Dobbs has that is put on by the PTA. They are the only school in the district that has this day and it stands for Greater Outdoor Learning Day. Normally it is a full day but because of special circumstances and schedules at the school this year it was a half day event and combined with Field Day. My kids love it and it becomes a family event with all of us there.
