Science Week at the Stuarts

If you know Jaxson then you know he becoming more interested in science stuff all the time. He has been interested in volcano's for a little while so before we went to Arkansas I told him we would make one when we got home. He immediately knew we needed vinegar to make it erupt. He did not forget so last week we pulled it all together. It was fun and we all participated.

He is also very interested in the solar system. So this week he built a very impressive rocket and satellite out of some of his blocks. He then decided he needed to create the planets so the rocket could fly into space. He then cut little circles out and colored one for all the planets. He even managed to bring me earth and tell me he colored it more blue than brown since earth has more water than land. He's learning it somewhere. I then helped him put the planets in order from the sun out (after I looked it up on the internet to remember the order) and he hung it up so his rocket could fly. I only have one picture of his project but I was proud of all his creativity.
